ALTERIUM is the new Italian power metal quintet led by Nicoletta Rosellini (ex. Kalidia, Walk in Darkness)

The band, born in late 2022, consists of Nicoletta, and former bandmates Paolo Campitelli (guitars) and Dario Gozzi (drums) from Kalidia, soon joined by two talented musicians: Alessandro Mammola (guitars, also in Draconicon) and Luca Scalabrin (bass, also in Altair).

Under the guidance of producer Lars Rettkowitz (Freedom Call), Alterium records their bombastic debut album, featuring 9 original classy power metal tracks and a cover of the Sabaton classic “Bismarck”.
In May 2023, the band signed a deal with German label AFM Records. Starting from September 2023, Alterium released a series of singles and music videos, leading the band to a wider audience from the very beginning: the music videos already achieved around half a million views, while the singles were featured in various editorial playlists (Spotify, Amazon Music, Tidal, Apple Music), leading the band to more than 20,000 monthly listeners on Spotify without having a full album out.

The impact of their music extended beyond digital platforms, leading to notable invitations to perform at various festivals, including Killerz Fest (Germany), Epic Fest (Denmark) and Milady Metal Fest (Italy), achieving also their first positive live reviews.

The debut album “Of War And Flames” will be released on March 8th, 2024 via AFM Records. The album is a triumph of catchy choruses, terrific vocal lines, powerful sounds, strong guitar riffs, explosive drums, majestic choirs and captivating grooves, all skillfully mastered by Achim Koehler.
To support their first release, the band is ready to tour as much as possible and to work on a strong and structured social media campaign, as well as scheduling promo events. Alterium already recorded 3 additional singles to keep engaging the audience and it’s already working on their second full length.

Besides her musical career, Nicoletta is an acclaimed influencer for the geek/nerd culture (Dungeons and Dragons, Magic: The Gathering, Warner Bros, Nintendo, Hogwarts Legacy, Asmodee, and more). She’s a regular guest on the Italian TV show ‘Crossover Universo Nerd’ along with fellow metal singer Cristina Scabbia (Lacuna Coil). She’s also performed (both with Kalidia and for her ‘solo nerd show’) at the most important Italian comicons, such as Lucca Comics and Games, Milan Games week, Rimini Comix, Torino Comics.
Nicoletta is also a brand influencer for several gothic/metal clothing brands such as EMP, Restyle.pl, Spiral Direct.
